Hunger Crosses Every Line

Hungry people do not fit any stereotype — they are high school and college graduates, they may live alone or with children, they may be seniors. Many own their own home and have jobs. Some are disabled or homeless, while others just need a little help while they try to  make ends meet. Hunger hits every race, religion and education level — anyone can be in need of food.

    We are here to help

ALL ARE WELCOMED
NO QUESTIONS ASKED...

WHOM DO WE SERVE?

· ANYONE & EVERYONE

· FROM ANYWHERE

· FOR ANY REASON

WHY? - BECAUSE WE CARE...

Today you may be in need, tomorrow you may be able to help those in need…

We are here for you in any way we can.

There is no referral or proof of need required to receive food. A family may come any time they are in need to receive bags of fresh and nonperishable foods.

Care Food Pantry is a "your choice" pantry...

You choose the kind of food your family needs from the list given to you...

The Food Pantry is an outreach mission of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady parish.  It gives us an opportunity to share with those in our community who have a need.  The work done at the pantry is to the glory of God.

"Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.' Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?' And the king will answer them, 'Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.' Matt 25:34-40

FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY

Every Second Sunday of the Month our parishes will hold a FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY. We invite all parishioners to bring your food donations to mass and leave them in containers located in the church.

Food Donations are always welcomed.

If you or your organization would like to donate items to the C.A.R.E. Food Pantry, please consider donating items from the following list. These are the basic non-perishable items that our food pantry provides to members of our community that request food.

Please check the expiration dates of the food. We cannot give our clients items that have expired.

Gift certificates to local grocery stores and monetary donations to purchase food are very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for helping those in need in our local community!

We accept food donations at ay time: Non-Perishable items such as dried beans, rice, canned food (fruit, vegetables, tuna, chili, etc..), cereals, dried fruits, and shelf-stable milk are all critically needed items at any time of the year.

We would never be able to help our friends in need without the help of many wonderful and generous people of our community who have made donations and shared their time and talents to make CARE Food Pantry a success.

Our local schools, civic organizations, churches of all faiths, and many people of good will have been instrumental in making our vision a reality. To all of you, we extend a sincere and heartfelt

THANK YOU.
All donations are tax-deductible...
