Religious Education

All children from Kindergarten to Grade 10 are part of the Religious Education Program.  Kindergarten classes meet once each month and Grades 1-10 meet once each week beginning in September.

Thirty-eight Children Receive First Penance

Thirty-eight children celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Saturday, December 2, 2017. We are very happy for them and want to congratulate them on all of their hard work in preparing for this special day. We would also like to thank our priests, our catechists, and our parents for lovingly guiding them in their studies. May God always bless His little children with joy.

Christmas Pageant Rehearsal

We would like to invite the children of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady ages 3-12 to participate in our Parish Christmas Pageant!  Rehearsals will be from 4-5 PM on Friday, December 8 and Friday December 15 in the Church Hall. The pageant will be presented at the 9:00 AM Mass on Sunday, January 7. Happy Advent to all!

Confirmation Date will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10 AM

We are so happy to announce that our parish Sacrament of Confirmation celebration will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Please pray for our Candidates who will be completing their Immediate Confirmation Preparation over the next few months. Thank you to all parents, catechists and sponsors for their help in preparing our Candidates for this blessed and holy day.

Confirmation Preparation for Catholic School Students

If your child attends Catholic School and is approaching his/her Confirmation and you would like them to receive their Confirmation at St. John’s, please be sure to Register your child for Immediate Confirmation Preparation. Immediate Confirmation Preparation will begin after the Christmas holidays.  Forms can be found at the entrances to the church.
