Cemetery Lot Purchases & Information
Lot Purchase: At the time of selection, a deposit of at least one half of the total price due must be paid. You will have one year to pay the balance. We strongly suggest that you plan to pay the remaining half of the purchase price by making regular monthly payments.
Forfeit of Lot Purchase: If the final payment is not received within twelve months of the purchase date, the lot will revert back to the cemetery for resale and you will forfeit any payments you have made. If a burial has already taken place, the lot will be marked as closed and no other burials will be allowed until the lot is paid in full.
Deeds: Always remember - the holder of the deed is the holder of the lot. Without the deed, no changes can be made. Only one original deed may be mailed to one owner.
Monuments: No monument is allowed on the lot until the lot is paid in full. Single grave lots are only allowed a flat marker. Only one monument (on 2+ grave lots) or one flat marker (on single grave lots) is allowed on each lot with an exception of Veterans Markers.
Grave Openings & Funeral Mass: Payments must be made in full before any interment can take place. If payment is not received, the lot will be marked as closed and no other burials will be allowed until the Grave Opening &/or Funeral Mass is paid in full.
Lot Returns & Reimbursements: Lots can only be returned if the entire lot is completely empty. Reimbursement amount will NOT exceed the original purchase amount. A reimbursement check can only be made out to the original deed holder(s)/owner(s). If original owner(s) is/are deceased, reimbursement can only be made out to an established family trust unless court documents are provided to show such person as the executor of the original owner(s) estate. Notarized letters from all heirs might also be required. If there is a monument on the lot, owner(s) are responsible for the removal of said monument. Lot Exchanges: A lot must be completely empty and the original deed returned before a new lot is chosen. The original purchase price will be credited towards the new lot at current lot prices.
